Commentaire de Aquifel Just an update for anyone just tuning in as of 4. You still have to walk the entire way with the wolf, you cant run ahead, and he wont go faster if you mount up anymore. Also, if you just run to the quest target and wait, the wolf appears to despawn, and you’ll have to start over. And, finally, quest is still a dead end, the quest hub appears to be defunct, but does pop you straight up to neutral with the mag’har.

If you get out of range, you loose the buff. If you get back within range quickly, it will be recast, but according to other comments, the spirit wolf will despawn if you are out of range long enough. Without the buff, you will be unfriendly and unable to interact with the Mag’har to complete the quest, but they won’t attack you.
4.2 : La fin d’atlasloot?
The rep gained from the quest makes you neutral. The spirit wolf just ignores hostile mobs and they ignore itso you should probably just avoid them if they aren’t an easy kill for you.
There are only a couple along the way, though. Mostly, it’s just a slow walk. This quest is part of a very long series of quests crossing several zones that involve Orc lore. See this comment for details.
Many quests are out-of-date Garrosh is a Mag’har quest giver in Nagrand, quedthelper examplebut they are interesting from a historical perspective. A couple of quests listed there no longer exist, but most do. It’s no longer possible to reach Exalted just by doing the remaining quests, though.
